This is a very critical period for any fresh graduates.Students are at the junction wherein they have several options or no option in their mind. We read some self development books or see some self motivating movies during our graduation days & get inspired.We feel as if we are going to rule over this world. But when the reality strikes most of us takes unbalanced decisions. This is the critical junction which everyone has to sail through.

But in any situation we should not remain idle. We should not feel that we will be sleeping in our comfort zone & get our goals. No one outside are ready to let go any opportunity. If they are not giving us any chance than why should we?

NEVER FAIL TO MAKE A ATTEMPT

So many quotes are there to inspire people.Among them,one is ' You may fail in your attempt,but never fail to make a attempt'.

Being in the competitive mode of life everyday common man encounters a new challenge.We are working like a donkey.Still commonman struggles.Since we are so much into the mundane things,we accept our defeat very easily & compromise by saying that I don't have time.We read useless items in newspaper,we get into mindless gossiping,we do kheti(farming) on Farmville in Facebook till 4'o clock in the morning & say that "I don't have time".Even Newton got 24 hours.How we use our time matters.We should not get disheartened with a simple failure.It is not the end of life.By being persistent we can actually get whatever we desire.

Commonman should try & try with positive mindset.But if we don't try,we will be a loser for sure.Only if we try,we get any result either success or failure!!

YOUR MONEY IS OUR MONEY!

Today some of us are working to get a tag or a recognition,some for monetary gain or some uselessly going on without any meaning or goal of life.
We see people with the understanding that "My money is my money,your money is our money".Even in a family involving husband-wife ,the same saying is getting repeated.
But there are some rare souls or people who can be admired for their unselfish & visionary motives.If one to remember in Bangalore is the people behind Akshaya Patra.The slogan goes on like this "unlimited food for education".They started with a very noble motive which moved India & even US President.
Conquering the simply materialistic mode of getting fame,name,money,etc. & working continuously with full heartedly is a deed of courage.Not a normal people can do this.
So Common man thinks that we all should come together to spread the noble cause which results in a better society to live in.

HURRY MAKES CURRY BAD

Said by my dear Prof.(CA)Nanandakumar sir that Hurry makes curry bad is totally appropriate & valuable life lesson.Whatever you do,if done with patience,certainty of getting that work done with correctness increases many-a-times.

But it doesn't mean that you will start doing work without any pace.The key point that common man would like to put forward is, patience should never be neglected.May be you are super brilliant but if you don't have Patience to listen to others ,it may result in disheartening situation.May be you are dumb but if you don't have Patience to listen to others,you'll never grow up.

There is a beautiful saying that,

                                When you run so fast,to get somewhere;

                                         You lose the fun of getting there;

                                   Life is not a race,so take it slower;

                                         Hear the music before the song is over.

It conveys that no matter you are getting more time in solving the problem or situation for the first time but if you patiently try continuously, ultimate victory will be yours when you need it the most.It is said that Practice makes the man perfect,but i say that "Practice alone makes the man Perfect".Also if you are getting delayed in reaching the destination,keep Patience.It is only that what you can do the best to take rational decision.It is a saying that speed thrills but kills & its better to be Mr.Late then Late Mr.__.

So,be or don't be in hurry,its upto you but make your curry good always!.

GOD DOESN'T NEED MONEY TO LIVE!

Being a Common man , i always thought of whats the need of offering such a huge amount of Donations for the Temples ,idols on the name of religion?Why there is DISCRIMINATION in the class of society when they go for offering Prayers?Do god need money for its livelihood?NO,God doesn't need money to live,you need money to live.Human being needs money for whatever they do.Why not work for Humanity as is said that Service to humanity is service to god .

COMMON MAN says that, Don't make religion as a matter of accumulation of fund.And i ,being a common man ,ask that Why human beings tolerate nuisance?Why still they are trapped in the misbeliefs prevailing in the society?

If you work by heart & act in good manner ,god doesn't ask more.It shouldn't be like muh mein Ram,bagal mein churi(Hindi) i.e from outer appearance you are showing very well manner,but from your inner heart your are complete opposite.

Don't encourage people to sit & earn without any effort.Don't give even a single penny without getting offered some work.That will be the greatest help for the country like ours & the world as a whole.That will be the greatest service to humanity as well as god.

Common man urge people to shun encouraging earning without any work & promoting work to earn their livelihood.Almighty always opens number of vacancies for the labourers.

DAR KE AAGE JEET HAI!

The Tag line of Mountain Dew or the title made as above is so powerful that if accepted & acted upon by the people for good,will change the nation forever.

It is said that its just that one step which restricts the person to get the goal.If you take that step,you get your goal.

MS Dhoni took 1 step to play out of regular studies.He was ordinary,but now an extraordinary.

Sachin took 1 step to play out of regular studies.He was ordinary,but now an extraordinary.

Ambani took 1 step to start own venture ,quitting job.He was ordinary,but now extraordinary.

IMPLICATIONS OF BEING PROFESSIONAL

It is important that CS have the courage,skill & knowledge to question policies whenever they contravene regulatory norms.

But often Professionals are made to function on the commands of the Company management,hence they fail to take independent view on the given situation.

The most essential part is to bring the change in the mindset.

It can be done through:-

• Awareness
• Legal accountability
• Proven trackrecord by professionals

Comman man desires to see business having strong corporate priest or Company Secretary.

STRATEGIC DECISIONS SHOULDN'T LEAK OUT

Its very important as far as business is concerned to avoid leakage of strategic decisions which can cost heavily.That is why topmost officials are conferred with these kind of responsibilities.I experimented by myself  to know some important lifetime experiences because i feel that its the period wherein i can experiment a lot without any risk.

My first experiment:-HOW FAR CAN I KEEP SECRETS?

Result:-THUNDERING SUCCESS.

I joined ICSI to pusue knowledge as well as  CS course in Feb'09.I made a point to avoid disclosure about my enrolment to see how strategically can i place my plans.The time i joined the course, it was due to my interest in knowing more about company functioning.But more importantly i desired not to go for the regular trend of getting a MBA degree further.Syllabus of BBM is almost similar to what a student get in MBA except more Case studies or a level higher.I thought of getting as much as i can in this BBM degree from the day i joined the BBM course.

When i came in my 4th semester of BBM , i knew that this is the time when i would publicly make my friends known to the CS part of my life.I got it as i wished.

Common man knows that god helps those who help themselves, so i am also helping myself strategically.

MOB MENTALITY

Thakreys & other religious leaders use the phenomenon called Mob mentality in order to get their job done.Being a Common man i tried experimenting with the said phenomenon.I started looking below the chair a bit ahead of me & asked my three friends to come in a moment one after the other.After few moments the number of people observing at that point increased.With the increase in number,more people started gathering.Slowly i came out of the crowd & started observing what the others are observing.Actually there was nothing to observe but out of curiosity & negligence people got stuck at the point.But i say that let there be method in your madness.People can't go mad just like that.Reasoning always required & rational decision is the deal of the day.
What i observed out of it that the innocent people see at a point as directed by the master & they don't question for the same, say ;why should we do like that?.They do what their Master asks them to do.Same can be applied with the TERRORIST Groups.
Now i wonder what do the masters derive out of doing such an act?Probably they earn popularity or they get the power with the regional support.I believe that they desire power.Power not to run the country but to be able enough to make a huge impact in the running of the government.They desire the power to get control over the government.But my dear Thackeray sir,SRK and his movie(My name is Khan) will only get lots of POPULARITY & SYMPATHY out of being the lonely person in his side.
But the real fact that i would like to put forward for these groups that Common men are not the same blind followers.This is the age of information wherein people are taking their decision out of Mob mentality.Democracy is showing its strength although not completely.Mutalik, the head of a religious group has already got his face blackened.Tomorrow is Valentines Day,lets see who all get their face blackened but hope for the best and healthy environment.

NEIGHBOURS

Common men aspires for friendly neighbour & if they aspire its not their fault,they are social animal.We are doing everything on global basis which is need of the time.Glocal concept is required in current managers i.e. think global & act local.In G20 Summit countries came together & shared $1.3trillion as a bailout package for the revival of global business.

But our similar cultured neighbouring country is in crisis.Taliban is very close to Islamabad to take over Pakistan under their control.Will they or will not,its in mystery but for sure the phrase is coming into real existence that jo boyega wahi payega i.e. you will get the same thing that you plant in.Pakistan helped terrorism to grow in their land.Although rest of the world suffered due that but now the picture is completely different.Pakistan weakening day by day internally.The economy of Pakistan was not strong & now it is getting rust more severely.India is known for helping the needy.It was the best time to do something for the neighbour but do they deserve?We have an ideology of Gandhigiri.I think the UPA government did commendable work by following brain instead of heart.Someone said josh se nahi hosh se kaam karna chahiye.Same did the UPA government by pressurising Pakistan with the impact of world.Mr Narendra Modi says that "aatankwad se unki hin bhasa mein baat honi chahiye" i.e. one should follow the same line of action that the other party uses.But Mr Modi,see the current situation.Psychological pressure did which the tit for tat action can never give,it can lead to destruction for sure.Yes we can use nuclear weapon but we can't underestimate the neighbouring country who is also a nuclear country.

From here common man can take the lesson of not having ego or jealousy among neighbours because that'll only lead to bitter relations & hence destruction.Regarding me,a common man,I'm proud of Gandhigiri.In my language EGO is nothing but Eliminating Growth Opportunities.

EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED

Recession is highly used term in the current scenario.Job cuts,resizing,downsizing,inflation or whatever,are something that compelled even the common man to have the idea of these economic phenomenons.Even the security guard of Bank of baroda,Silk board ,B'lore branch surprised me by giving his view on current situation.According to him due to recession there is destability in the job market.

Recession is the once upon a lifetime phenomenon.We are not going to see it again in our lifetime.Hence student community starting their carrier are fortunate enough to have recession free livelihood in future.But is it that recession only convert people handicapped?No its not true.In 1930's there prevailed a Great recessionary period in US .At those times ,a common man named Walt Disney came up with an idea of creating a cartoon character,Mickey Mouse.That character started earning a huge amount at that time & still going strong.There are some 800 million opportunities for the Entrepreneurs according to an entrepreneurial site.We just need to get on the roads not taken.Student community concentrating there carrier with business related field should aim at creating employment.Although we are in recession(either real or pshycological) we'll come out of it.But the difference i dream for is converting recession being Once upon a lifetime to none upon a lifetime phenomenon.

LITERACY & LEADERSHIP

Manmohan Singh,Atal bihari Vajpayee & Capt. Gopinath are some of the academically qualified leaders/politicians.Rabri Devi,Mayawati & others are some of the highly backward leaders in terms of education.Now the question comes who is better?

According to Mr. Sandeep Dhar,CEO,TESCO CO.,the most important trait required in a leader is to gain trust.Even in love if there is no trust it is of no use.Akbar was the leader with no educational qualification.He ruled the entire country.Now in this way if Mayawati wants she can be the Prime Minister or anyone else.But they need to know & follow the meaning of minister & secularism.Minister means servant & secularism is not to get influenced with any religion.But the misconception for ministerial post is that once got elected they are the king.For the secularism they try to see country on the religious basis & hence try to attract the vote bank from the separate community which is illegal as far as Indian Constitution is concerned.Hence leaders with right mindset is the need of the hour.

IS GOING GREEN REALLY WORTH?

Common man was asleep these days.Lots of activities going on.Election campaign requires around 10000 to 15000 crores.Common man is just observing ,but today something critical strikes in the mind of common man.The solution to avoid petrol,diesel shortage is bio fuel.Everyone is recommending to be dependent on plants as a replica of non-renewable resources.I agree that there is no other option as such then to go green but there is the reverse side of the theory that we need to look in.The most important function of plants is there carbon dioxide consumption & oxygen released as the by product.US is giving targets to the companies to go green as much as possible but who is looking after the growth rate of plants.If they get destroyed then there will be dual destruction.Jatropa is a rain water forest plant through which bio fuel is extracted.If the number of these species will decline then it'll be a bigger disaster for the mankind.

Now giving critical view is still simple but the solution is something that makes the difference.We should give time to these communities to rehabilitate itself.For the sustainable development ,we should carry on the plantation work also.Then the world can definitely be considered as the green world,heavenly for all.

INDIAN ARMY NEEDS MORE THAN PROMOTION

There is a shortage of 11000 officers in Indian army.Recently Indian army started campaigning through TV ads to motivate peoples to join army.Common man thinks its just the basic step taken.Common man would like to share further some points that Indian army can implement to have the success in their mission.

1. There should be short term service of 5 years.
2. Short term commissioned officers should get limited promotion & long term officers to the topmost position.
3. Shouldn't make high academic qualifications compulsory for short term commissioned officers.
4. Entry examination pattern for short term officers should be easy then the existing pattern.
5. Short term officers should get assistance for further studies to get livelihood from other job after quiting the job.
6. Of course higher monetary policy matters.
7. Better living society for the family.
8. Better education facility to the children's.
9. Better pension plans for them.

I think army is the most respecting occupation.Even Prince Charles son's are overcoming all sort of hurdles to be the part of armed forces.Armed forces provide service to the nation directly.If army really wants to overcome the shortage,they got to consider all the steps suggested by the common man.Although a number of people desires to give service to the nation but their dreams get destroyed when they can't qualify the entrance exams.

We saw during the Kargil war,how much motivated Indian civilians are,who offered to give free service in the army but denied by the top official.So its not like they got to take tough steps to promote army service but to take logical steps to overcome the shortage.Government is already giving a big amount of fund to the forces.The logical utilisation of funds will bring the difference.

WE TWO OURS TWO

Although population is the biggest potential market that any business look after but accordingly it brings number of obstacles.Increasing population leads to higher demand for food that leads to increase in fertiliser usage that brings good crop which attracts pests.Now comes in the picture the usage of pesticides.

Now it has got different dimensions.First when the water flows carrying pesticides,water is absorbed by the grass that is graged by the herbivores,& the pesticide goes directly in the body.Secondly,when the water flows carrying pesticide it goes into river that affects aquarium lives.Thirdly when the humans eat those crops it goes directly into their body.Fourthly when the pregnant women take those items,it goes indirectly to the infants body.

INDIA SHINING

When the Oscar was announced common man was thinking is India really shining?Yes to some extent it is true.World is recognising the hard working people.India or rather Indians are making impact on the broader stage.Everyone is going ga-ga on the events going on that naturally they should be.But what about the 75% of the Indian population,the farmer community.First thing that comes into our mind regarding this is the farm loan waiver budget passed by the UPA government.It was the great initiative but still we hear the suicides having impact on the said community.

Farmer is the part of the community which not always look for big returns as the normal business community expects.A farmer has a great responsibility to fulfill the day to day increasing demand of the population increasing rapidly.When the initiatives don't reach to the deserving candidate common man feel bad.Although the 60000 crores loan waiver budget passed but the common man knows that it is the mediators or the middlemen who is enjoying the benefits.The common man thinks that the funds would rather have been used in development of the agriculture.Better irrigation facility,high yielding variety of seed,productive land,organic fertilisers,etc.That would have indirectly benefited the farmer community only & henceforth the economy of the country.

TILL THE FARMER COMMUNITY SUFFERS WE CAN'T SAY INDIA SHINING.

CAT RACE FOR COLLEGES

Earning more & more even more than that is becoming the sole aim of most of the graduate & post graduate colleges of the country,common man observes.First preference is to get affiliated to any recognised body & than go on.Today the parents/guardians of prospective PGPM students visiting the campus asked from me "although the campus is beatifull,isn't the fee structure too high?"I replied that this is the self funding institute which has the only source of revenue through the tution fees.Now when either you or your all candidate is already ready to be the part of this cat race,no matter what the fee structure is,you only will go for it.So never have query & don't worry because you yourself will go for that.

Just the thing the common man would like to remark is that colleges shouldn't focus just on the money matter & make the people feel that it is just the BUSINESS OF EDUCATION.If they feel that the cat will drink the milk by closing the eyes & think that noone saw then the feeling is not true.And the candidates should be open minded & understand the fact that it is just one part of life not the end of race.

THE Y FACTOR

Greatest strength of any economy is its population.In India it is well balanced with its old,middle & younger crowd.The Y factor i.e. the youth factor makes the difference.Youth of the world is filled with great enthusiasm.Enthusiasm is a nature of life.But as the maturity comes,the enthusiasm curve declines.The Y factor will be credited to the person whose enthusism never dies..

Its just the attitude of the youth that can be exploited which will bring the wonders come true.

COMPETITION WITH TECHNOLOGY

Its really worthy to praise someone who is eligible & when it comes to people involved in technology they really deserve the standing ovation.Time is changing & the common man is just observing it.I remember some six years back when my brother started pursuing his engineering degree in b'lore we used to make a call once in a week to him but know at anytime.

Its the environmental damage that the social servants always sought at.COMMON MAN feels that we needn't to sought but adapt & act.The positive aspect of environment damage is that we are getting aware that we need to work upon it.

GLOBALISATION

Is globalisation really necessary?This was the question that clicked into my mind when the presentation on globalisation was going on and the team 1 shown a number of disadvantages,weaknesses & all the negative aspects of globalisation.Especially one when they said that labourers are exploited in the hand of MNCs & countries currency is taken outside the country which is not good for economy.A long discussion followed after the question but the outcome was not coming out.Team member Abhinav already said that "no one is perfect" but still the hot discussion went on.Then i went on & summarised my only question to the class that globalisation has brought a number of opportunities to the country,employment opportunities has increased,whole market has become one market & everyone is trying to exeed from others then why should we lag behind.

At last our HOD summarized that since in all sides of the world globalisation is taking place,prosperity is happening we can't keep ourselves be separated from that.Although it has number of negative aspacts but we can't focus only on those.It has got a number of positive aspects.We need to focus on that & go ahead

BUSINESS OF POLITICS AS USUAL

Political environment in India is now again in a high tensed situation.Every one is busy in increasing the strength of their party.One's who are not self sufficient are finding the perfect candidate to support for.Some national level parties taking inspiration from mr.Obama's election campaign researching on the facts what all went right for him.
Congress,BJP eye TRP pie since Obama broke records by spending $60million or more than 100000 tv ads to win the Democratic presidential nomination.BSP has selected controversial Mukhtar Ansari accused of an MLA's murder as its Lok Sabha candidate for Varanasi.SP says they will support Pawar for PM & the most breaking news congress revokes Narayan Rane's suspention.All they are back!
They all will be fighting for the ministerial post & when they will win they will behave like the king.They will visit their electoral place once in the 5 year term.Its not that all are same but the number of such peoples are at such a hieght that they all are overshadowed.COMMON MAN just want to convey one thing to them that "minister" in literrary term means servant.THEY ARE NOT THE KING.THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC NOT ONCE IN A 5 YEAR BUT ANYTIME THE GENERAL MASS ASK FOR..

AN IDEA MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Kid says to his elder bro,bro there is a generation gap b/w your thinking & my approach;bro says to his dad,dad there is a generation gap b/w your thinking & my approach;dad says to his father,papa there is a generation gap b/w your thinking & my approach but common man asks is there any difference?

Common man thinks that its the idea that makes the difference.In 1930s there was a huge depression across the globe but it was the idea to create the cartoon character that brought millions of money & still is ongoing with thundering success!Its not about creating the idea,its about giving proper reactions to the ongoing changes.The saying of kid,bro,dad,father is going to be existing forever
but the excuses will always remain the same.Common man remembers the solution giver not the excuse maker or sorry figure;generations will come,will go but the ideoligies will remain the same.We got to respect each other for their own values & try to be better.

TIME TO REFORM

My heart says someone has got perfect leader at the most demandable time.The common man feels that the grassroot person can bring a huge difference that everyone will admire for.Mr president might become successful due to his attitude & plans taking realty very early then expected since "success is how high you bounce back when you hit the bottom.."

Now the medicine of reform is the most sought after cure of the illness in varied fields.The common man says that we needn't require a hard worker or a smart worker but it's the combination of both which will make the difference.Difference lies not in the aptitude but in the attitude.It's the attitude of Obama that's making all shorts of differences.It was his attitude that made differences in the election campaign.It is his initiative that there is stimulus bill passed as well as salary cuts of CEO's of different units getting benefits from the stimulus bill package.
